PCid ActiveX Control from DInsight is a windowless component, which allows identification of personal computes. It can form base for different security applications, including software protection, communication security and network administration. PCid Control allows retrieving and comparing Machine IDs, which uniquely and reliably identifies Personal Computers. Identification of a computer does not depend on any software installed on the machine and is tolerant to the operating system upgrade or reinstallation. Identification of a machine is also tolerant to changes in hardware components, including hard discs. The control can be added to any Windows Application using standard procedure for ActiveX controls in numerous development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio .NET, Delphi and others.
